Moonboots – Buena Onda Mix
MOONBOOTS: BALEARIC ADDICTED by Cleo Carlotti, Soundwall.it
Richard Bithell aka Moonboots began his career in ’88, he worked for nine years in one of the most famous music shops of the old continent ‘the Eastern Bloc Records’ of Manchester. Keep this in mind! Moon started pretty much like everyone else, playing in local clubs but then, together with his friend Jason Boardman, he made up his own party ‘Aficionado’: every Sunday they hosted people like Todd Terje, Greg Wilson, Phil Mison, Bill Brewster, Sean P , Mudd. This project has also become a label, with the prerogative to release only vinyl 12″. Obviously. Vinyl is his passion and his DJ sets in fact always reserve some rarities: Moonboots behind the console is able to recreate fantastic soundtracks, where melodies blend perfectly with the warm atmosphere of a sunset on the seaside. If someone has gone to Bologna some time ago knows it and could verify it personally at Buena Onda, the party where the ‘Balearic’ is a state of mind. Here a little chat with the only Balearic dj who has never been to Ibiza! A phenomenon that I recommend to follow closely, without forgetting his label. #staybalearic[Read more on Soundwall.it]
